In a surprising crossover event that challenges traditional expectations, the game developer has revealed an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Uncovered

According to the formal release, "A strange meeting draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where rumors of banned practices and monstrous changes resonate through the shadows." The plot presents a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a hidden cult.

The mission concentrates on "strange tests and a terrifying enemy" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Familiar Locations and Changes

The preview features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser concludes with a dramatic scene showing a character, presumably the captive, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Items and Extra Material

Players who finish the quest will acquire an special katana alongside multiple artifacts concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:

• Mikasa outfit for Naoe

Third Free Story Addition

This release also introduces the game's third complimentary story content, titled "A Puzzlement."
